Sunday showdown
The first women’s League2 Division game will take place on Sunday, April 20 with FC London hosting Hamilton United, kicking off a promising Southwest Conference that also includes first teams from Railway City, St Catharines Roma Wolves, and Cambridge United.
It’s a double matchweek for Railway City, who will make their women’s debut on the road at Waterloo United on April 23 before visiting FC London three days later. St Catharines are also in action on April 26 as they open their campaign at home to Guelph United.
Cambridge United are the hosts for their inaugural League2 Division game, and Oakville are the visitors as they wrap up Matchweek One.
The Women’s Northeast Conference kicks off on April 21 with Simcoe County Rovers hosting Scrosoppi – a mirror of the opening game in the Men’s Premier Division – followed by Master’s FA’s first team beginning their season against Whitby on April 23.
The reigning divisional champions Vaughan Azzurri will be in action at the same time as Master’s, as they begin their title defence against North Mississauga.
Sudbury Cyclones are the expansion team in the Northeast Conference, and they will be hoping for a big home turnout as their women’s team makes their on-field debut against Pickering.

Midweek kick-off
North Mississauga host Scrosoppi in the opening game of the Men’s League2 Division on Tuesday, April 22. There are two more matches in this Central Conference before Rush Canada’s first team open their campaign away at North Toronto on the Sunday.
Expansion teams Cambridge United and Railway City are both in the Southwest Conference, with the former taking on Waterloo United in Matchweek One and the latter debuting against Hamilton United in Matchweek Two.
The two sides will go head-to-head at the start of June, which could be a pivotal day in the promotion race between the two first teams in the region.
There are no first teams in the Northeast Conference this season, but The Borough’s second team will be making their debut with the club now competing in the Men’s Championship. They visit Simcoe County Rovers on April 24.
The division’s reigning champions, Alliance United, are at home in Matchweek One as they begin their title defence against Whitby, and on the road in Matchweek Two as they visit the Sudbury Cyclones second team that’s making their League1 Ontario debut.
U20 action returns
The U20 League also kicks off in the second half of April with three matches scheduled for the opening day – Monday, April 21 – across the men’s and women’s competitions. Returning Men’s Division champions Vaughan Azzurri are back in action on April 25 against Burlington.
Cambridge United, Railway City, and Rush Canada are all competing in the U20 League alongside big names from the Premier and Championship levels, as well as Richmond Hill, FC Durham, and Aurora.
