Aldergrove Star: VFC sign young Canadian Kevin Podgorni

At Prostars FC in Ontario, Podgorni had played through their youth teams up to their League1 Ontario U-20 reserve squad, with experience playing as an attacking midfielder, false nine, and winger.

CanPL: York United academy coach Silviu Butnaru keen to build next generation

His role changed earlier this year with the introduction of the York United Academy, where he is set to coach the team in their first foray into League1 Ontario, as well as serve as the Academy’s Technical Director.

For the past three years, Milanović has taken on double duty. During the academic year, he coached the TMU Bold alongside head coach Filip Prostran but during the summer Milanović was the head coach of the North Toronto Nitros men’s soccer club in League1 Ontario.

The Sudbury Star: Sudbury Cyclones announce League1 men’s soccer schedule

The Sudbury Cyclones will open their first season at the League1 Ontario Championship level with a road game against York United Academy on April 18, before welcoming Pickering FC in their home opener at James Jerome Sports Complex on April 26.
